Paul Terry
Paul serves the Harding Area District. This includes Crawford, Marion, Morrow, and Wyandot counties.
Paul Terry was born at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He attended North Canton City Schools and graduated from Hoover High School in 2016. During High School, Paul enjoyed spending his summers working on Waterfront Staff at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation. After High School, Paul graduated from the University of Akron in 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Education for Middle Level Math and Science. In college, Paul worked at the Natatorium in the Student Recreation & Wellness Center and also continued to serve on summer camp staff at Seven Ranges. Paul accepted the role as Harding Area District Growth Executive and officially began his professional scouting career in September of 2025.
Paul also grew up as a youth in scouting. He joined Hetuck District's Troop 4 in Canton, Ohio at age 11. He attended Seven Ranges summer camp every year and earned his 5th year Pipestone Camp Honors at age 15. During his youth, he was also inducted into Sipp-O Lodge and holds a Brotherhood membership. Paul earned the rank of Eagle Scout in December 2015 and was the #154 Eagle Scout in Troop 4. As a young adult, he continued to serve in leadership roles at Seven Ranges Summer Camp and most recently served as the Algonkin Program Director in 2024. Paul has a great passion for scouting and enjoys high adventure, fishing, camping, marksmanship, bicycling, sports, personal fitness, cars, swimming, and boating. He is very excited about his new role in the Buckeye Council moving forward and wants to make the Harding Area District better than ever before!
