Good Turn Weekends
Part of attending Scout Summer Camp at Seven Ranges is participating in a Good Turn Project. Rather than having all campers complete this during their week in camp, the Buckeye Council offers three different weekends where troops can come to Seven Ranges and do their Good Turn in advance!
These conservation and service projects are vital to maintaining the quality of camp facilities, preserving the natural environment, and ensuring a great experience for future Scouts. Regular upkeep helps prevent larger maintenance issues, protects the local ecosystem, and enhances program areas for continued use. By participating in these projects, Scouts also develop a deeper appreciation for stewardship, leadership, and the impact of service. This tradition fosters a sense of responsibility and pride in Seven Ranges, reinforcing the Scouting principle of leaving a place better than they found it.
