Dear Scouters,
Although the Buckeye Council will not have a Wood Badge Training course here locally in 2009, I invite you to check out these other council Wood Badge Courses. If you do not know, Wood Badge is a National Training Course that is sponsored locally by individual councils. Each course director is sworn to hold to national standards and a national syllabus. So, no matter where you take the training, you will get the exact same training. The only part of the course that is individual to the course is its personality. Adding yours to any course will have its effect making your experience different from anyone else who may take the course. This is an outstanding experience that know one should miss. There is only one thing I ask of you if you decide to take Wood Badge Training. Please let your Training Chairman in your district know that you are attending the course. That way we can keep our records up to date.
