District Committee Meeting

SUMMER BREAK!!

District Committee Meetings have ended for the summer and we will get together again for Program Preview in August. Have a great summer!

The District Committee meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Alliance. We begin at 7pm.

Planning for all district events and activities occurs at this meeting. If you have any items of discussion please feel free to attend. Contact Dave Puterbaugh for additional details, 330-821-5800.

Commissioner Meeting

Commissioners are on a break for the summer and will begin meeting again in August for Fall Program Preview.

Commissioner Meetings are the 2^nd Thursday of each month. May is our last meeting until August. We meet at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Alliance. Meeting begins at 6:30 pm.

       Webelos Resident Camp

Webelos Resident Camp is still taking registrations. Registrations and payment are due two weeks prior to the date your scout attends. Get your reservation in soon because sessions are filling up quickly!

This year, camp is under the direction of our very own Gary Deprill, along with a host of other fine and talented staff.  You will not want to miss out on this great adventure.  Please see the Buckeye Council web page for all the details.

Boy Scout Summer Camp

If you have not told your Scoutmaster you are attending camp this summer, you had better do so quickly.  Summer camp at Seven Ranges is a fun and exciting week for a Boy Scout and we want to provide every opportunity for you to attend.  There are Camperships available if money is an issue. A Scout can go with another troop if scheduling is a problem.  Please see the Buckeye Council web page for all the details. See you there!!

Cub Scout Daycamp 2008 Cub Olympics

Monday, July 7^th – Friday July 11^th

Cub Scout Day camp is just around the corner. This year’s theme is Cub Olympics. Our camp director Dave Austin and his team of volunteers are working hard to plan a great program for your cubs and we hope to see you in July. Fall Round Ups – Troop/Crew Open Houses

Fall is just around the corner, and that means school nights! Lots of boys will want to join your unit and so will their parents.  Early planning will help ensure every youth has an opportunity to be part of your fun and exciting program. Please take some time to review your plans for the fall and select a date for your Pack Round-up or Troop and Crew Open House and bring this information with you to Program Preview on June 7^th.
