Chris Hyde

Biography

Chris Hyde started his scouting career in Cub Scout Pack 155 in Malvern,Ohio at the age of 7. After working his way through the cub scout program, he crossed over into Troop 155 in 2000. He was very active in his Troop. He hiked two treks at Philmont Scout Ranch in 2004 and 2007, attended Haliburton Scout Reserve in Canada 5 times, earned his God and Country award, is a brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow, and holds his 5th year pipestone. Chris was the 100th Eagle Scout in his troop in 2005 and was given his Eagle charge by Troop 155's first eagle. He went on to earn all three Eagle Palms with 48 total merit badges. He was a part of the C-22-10 Woodbadge course in 2010. 

Chris started with the Buckeye Council in 2010 as a neighborhood coordinator in the Tuskegee district. Chris started as the Sandy Beaver District Executive on June 1, 2012. In August of 2015, Chris was promoted to Senior District Executive.

Chris married his high school sweetheart Ashley in September of 2012 and they have two daughters Adelynn, 4 and Liliana, 2. Chris and Ashley reside at Lake Mohawk in Malvern.
