Spring is here and you should already be thinking about growing new members to your packs and troops. If you haven’t scheduled your round up, you are already behind.

Day Camp    Going for the Gold

The Olympic torch is about to be lit and you boys need to be there to witness this great event. Boys enter into Scouting because they want to go camping and play outdoors. Day camp is the biggest event in Cub Scouts year. Don’t let your boys miss out on the greatest time they will have all year. These days are the one that they will take with them the rest of their lives. Camperships will be available to those who need them. Let’s get these boys away from the Playstations and back outside where they can run and play.

Pirates of Akela

This summer is fast approaching and the time is now to reserve your session for WRC. Don’t hesitate, many of the sessions are starting to fill and time is running out. In order to reserve your session you need to send $50 along with the approximate number of youth and adults attending and what session you want to attend to the Council office. Reservations are on a first come first served basis, so hurry if you want to ensure the session you want isn’t full. The remaining balance, pack registration form and all medical forms are due to the Council office no later than 21 days prior to the start of your session. All the forms that you will need are located at the Council website www.buckeyecouncil.org under the Camping tab, then Seven Ranges tab, then WRC tab.
