Professional Sports Days
Several of our area professional sports teams host special events for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers. The best source for this information is the team's website, with updated dates, events, activities and costs.
Akron Aeros Baseball
The Akron Aeros host several Scout Nights each summer. For a small fee, your scouts can attend a game, get a hot dog and soda, sing "Take me out the ball game" and after the game, and camp right on the field after the game. The night is usually capped off with a movie played on their JumboTron scoreboard. These events sell out early - so early registration is recommended. Dates for 2010 are June 28th and July 19th.
