2010 Buckeye Council Camporall
As part of our 100th Anniversary of Scouting Celebration, the Buckeye Council is having a weekend Camporall for all scouts in the Buckeye Council. Seven Ranges will host more than 2,000 scouts and scouters for a weekend blow out celebration of the founding of the Scouting movement 100 years ago.
Activities will range from Aquatics and Shooting sports to Cooking and Skills competitions, with each District providing the best challenges from its Camporees and Klondikes. Venture Scouts are welcome to be part of the activities, and Saturday will also include a day of fun for Cub Scouts and Webelos at Camp Akela.
The program will conclude on Saturday night, with a fireworks celebration over Lake Don Brown. Leaders guides and registration information will be available on this site by second quarter 2010. Your unit should plan now to attend, and be part of the 100th Anniversary Celebration in the Buckeye Council.
Going forward, we plan to host a Councilwide Camporall each year that National is hosting the National Jamboree. It will be easy to remember, and a great opportunity to get all of our Scouting family together for fun, fellowship and the great outdoors.
