Important Popcorn Dates

• 7/30 at 9am:  Popcorn University at Stark State College in the M Building
  • The Popcorn University is a great opportunity for a representative from your troop or pack to learn more about the popcorn sale.  If you are a new kernel or unit leader, this is a great chance to get acclimated to what a popcorn sale looks like and how to make your unit’s successful.  If you have been the kernel or leader for a while now, this will provide deeper knowledge about parts of the sale you might not have known about.  Each pack/troop should send one representative (if possible) to the Popcorn University.
    • The Popcorn University is also the FIRST chance your unit has to add the Cavaliers Championship tin to your pre-order sale!  There are a limited amount of Cavs popcorn tins available and you’ll want to get them while you can.  Popcorn University attendees will have the first chance to add them and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
• 8/18 at 6:30pm:  Neta District Popcorn Kickoff at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Phila
  • Each troop and pack that is selling popcorn will receive their materials to have your unit kickoff.  You will receive your order forms, tasting kits, prize forms, signs, and information about November Pick Up times.  Each pack/troop MUST have a representative present at this meeting.
• 9/12:  Popcorn Pre-Sale Orders Due
  • If your unit is planning on participating in Show-N-Sell popcorn, your orders are due 9/22.
• 9/23:  Popcorn Pre-Sale Order Distribution at People’s Warehouse in Canton
  • You will be able to pick your pre-sale popcorn up at the People’s Warehouse in Canton throughout the afternoon on 9/23
• 10/31:  Popcorn Orders Due & Return of Unopened Cases
  • ALL Popcorn take orders are due on 10/31 at midnight!  If you have unsold pre-sale popcorn that you need to return, it is due on 10/31 at the Buckeye Council Office.
• 11/12:  Popcorn Distribution at Marsh Industries in New Phila
  • Popcorn distribution will be throughout the morning of 11/12 at Marsh Industries.  You will receive pickup times at the District Popcorn Kickoff on August 18^th.
