The course goal is to prepare young men and women to become superior leaders in their Troops and Crews. The leadership skills earned through NYLT are worthwhile in the Scouting and Venturing programs and beyond. Both Scouts and Venturers will find themselves applying lessons from this course to their academic, social, and, later in their professional lives.
