Districts of Buckeye Council
What is a District?
bulletA Scouting District is a geographical area of the BSA local council, determined by the council executive board.  District leaders mobilize resources to ensure the growth and success of Scouting units within the district's territory.
bulletThe purpose of the district is to work through chartered organizations and community groups to organize and support successful units.  The end result of effective district support:  more youth members receiving a better program.
bulletThe purpose of the council is to guide and support its districts for the achievement of the movement's purpose.  Councils establish policies and programs.  Districts carry out the policies and programs in their respective territories.

Killbuck

Holmes and Wayne Counties, including communities of Wooster, Millersburg, Dalton, Orrville, Marshallville, Shreve, Applecreek, Glenmont, Nashville, Smithville, Holmesville, Big Prairie.

Netawotwes

Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties, including communities of Augusta, Baltic, Bowerstown, Carrollton, Dellroy, Dennison, Dover, Dundee, East Sparta, Gnadenhutten, Harlem Springs, Kilgore, Leesville, Magnolia, Malvern, Mechanicstown, Midvale, Mineral City, New Cumberland, Zoar, New Philadelphia, Newcomerstown, Port Washington, Sherrodsville, Strasburg, Ragersville, Sugarcreek, Tuscarawas, Uhrichsville, Waynesburg.

Sandy Beaver

Columbiana County, including communities of Salem, East Liverpool, Wellsville, North Georgetown, Leetonia, Columbiana, Lisbon, Salineville, Glenmoor, New Garden, Rogers, Franklin Square, Calcutta, East Palestine, New Waterford, Washingtonville, Hanoverton, Damascus, Homeworth, Chester, WV, Newell, WV.

Seneca

Central Stark County, including communities of Uniontown, Hartville, North Canton, Belden Village, Canton, East Canton, North Industry, and Canton South.

Wapakonachee

Eastern Stark County, including communities of Alliance, Louisville, Marlboro, Limaville, Paris, Robertsville, Minerva.

Westark

Western Stark County, including communities of Perry, Massillon, Navarre, Brewster, Beach City, Wilmot, Jackson, Canal Fulton.
